Do you like working with your hands, fixing things, and seeing the results of a job well done? We’ve got an opening for a Maintenance Technician focused on Apartment Unit Turns! This is your chance to join a great team at a large garden-style property in Beaverton.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for prepping apartments between tenants—making each unit feel like home again. Think of it like this: when someone moves out, you step in to bring the place back to life with cleaning, painting, patching drywall, simple plumbing fixes, and swapping out appliances. If you're someone who can work independently and takes pride in doing quality work without a ton of supervision, this might be the perfect fit.
What We’re Looking For:
Someone who can jump in, take a work order, and get things done without needing constant direction. You’re reliable, hands-on, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
Duties Include:
- Turn units between tenants by cleaning and preparing apartments for new move-ins
- Touch-up or repaint walls as needed
- Patch and repair drywall
- Perform basic plumbing work like fixing leaks or unclogging drains
- Replace and install appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and garbage disposals
- Handle minor electrical tasks (e.g. changing light fixtures or outlets)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with property management and the maintenance team
