Are you creative, detail-oriented, and love seeing a project come to life from start to finish? We have a unique opportunity at a local, well-established wrap shop in Tigard that might be perfect for you. They specialize in custom car wraps—from rugged off-road rigs to high-end Ferraris—and are looking for a hands-on team member to help bring those designs to reality.
As a Wide Format Digital Printing & Laminating Associate, you’ll play a key role in the production process. This includes working closely with clients to gather design input, coordinating with a vendor in New York for wrap designs, and running high-end printing and laminating equipment to produce the final product. Occasionally, you’ll also get your hands in the action by helping prep and apply wraps on vehicles (don’t worry—it’s forgiving if you make a mistake!). What You’ll Be Doing:
- Communicate directly with customers to gather design ideas, notes, and references for custom vehicle wraps.
- Coordinate with a New York-based vendor to finalize wrap designs—strong communication and follow-up is key.
- Operate a Roland wide format printer and lamination machine to prepare vinyl wrap prints.
- Track progress and follow up with customers during the production process to ensure satisfaction and clarity.
- Collaborate with install technicians by preparing and handing off prints for installation.
- Occasionally assist with vinyl application on vehicles (training provided—heat guns and patience go a long way!).
- Support the team with phone inquiries, updates, and project management tasks.
- Assist with basic invoicing and order tracking as you become more familiar with the role.
- Help keep production flowing smoothly and stay ahead of scheduling delays by managing time zones and communication effectively.
