We’re hiring a Mail Room Associate for a fast-paced legal services company that helps businesses organize and digitize their incoming mail and physical documents. In this role, you'll help transform stacks of paper into clean, organized digital files. It’s hands-on work with a strong team, and your efforts make a real impact for businesses across the country!
Mail Room Associate Duties and Responsibilities:
- Remove incoming mail from bins and tubs and match mail items with the correct identifiers or tracking numbers
- Organize mail by type or processing stage
- Apply barcode stickers and prep documents for scanning
- Sort mail by size and document type
- Feed batches of mail into scanning systems for digital upload
- Open envelopes and remove contents for review and scanning
- Place scanned documents in new envelopes or designated areas for filing or shredding
- Maintain accuracy and speed while following basic confidentiality procedures
