In this position, you'll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality metal parts. Whether it's milling, drilling, or lathe work, you'll play a vital role in keeping our production line moving with precision and consistency. We’re looking for someone who has experience with CNC machinery, understands blueprints, and knows how to use measurement tools like calipers and micrometers. If you’re reliable, mechanically inclined, and ready to grow your career – we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Set up and program CNC machines for a variety of tasks including milling, drilling, and lathe operations
- Monitor machines throughout the production cycle to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet exact specifications using precision tools
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on CNC machines to reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and efficiency
