Job Summary:
Do you enjoy being on the road and working independently? We're hiring a Box Truck Driver – Local Route Delivery Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting goods on scheduled routes using a box truck—no commercial driver’s license (CDL) required. If you know your way around local neighborhoods, have a clean driving record, and take pride in providing reliable service, this could be a great fit for you.
Your day-to-day will involve driving, loading/unloading items, and keeping your vehicle clean and maintained. Experience with lift-gates or forklifts is a bonus, but not required. You’ll play an important role in keeping customers happy by making sure their deliveries are accurate, on time, and handled with care.
We’re looking for dependable individuals who are self-motivated, organized, and ready to hit the ground running!
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a box truck on assigned local delivery routes
- Load and unload delivery items with care and efficiency
- Follow delivery schedules and instructions to meet customer expectations
- Maintain basic cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle
- Document deliveries, pickups, and any related shipment details
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
- Assist with warehouse tasks or vehicle checks as needed
