Job Full Description

Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, has a knack for technical detail, and loves putting things together the right way? If so, we’ve got a hands-on opportunity for you. Our team is looking for a Control Panel Technician to help build, wire, and test custom control panels that power machinery and automation systems across multiple industries.

Imagine working in a well-equipped shop with tools, wires, and high-tech components around you. Your job? Assemble the “brains” behind powerful machines — control panels. You’ll follow detailed blueprints to wire and mount components while ensuring every piece meets industry safety standards. It’s like building a high-stakes puzzle where every part needs to fit just right — and your work directly impacts performance, safety, and reliability.

A key part of this role is working with UL 508A, the gold standard for industrial control panel safety. You’ll be ensuring every panel is compliant — from proper grounding and wire labeling to making sure everything is tested and verified before it leaves the shop. We’re looking for someone who understands how important safety and precision are when dealing with electrical systems.

If you’re someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, loves working on a team, and enjoys bringing technical projects to life, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Assemble and wire industrial control panels according to UL 508A standards
  • Mount and label electrical components, terminal blocks, relays, breakers, and PLCs
  • Ensure proper wire routing, grounding, spacing, and secure mounting of all parts
  • Perform functional testing of completed panels to verify performance and compliance
  • Troubleshoot and repair control panels and components as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations for electrical assembly

Benefits Include:

  • 401(k)
  • Medical Insurance
  • Optical Coverage
  • Dental Coverage
  • Life Insurance
  • Short-Term Disability Coverage
