Position Overview
The Table Saw Operator is responsible for accurately and safely cutting materials to specified dimensions using a table saw and related equipment. This role supports production and fabrication operations by ensuring high-quality cuts and efficient workflow. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
Job Duties
- Operate table saws to cut wood or other materials according to specifications and work orders
- Measure, mark, and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Set up, adjust, and maintain saw blades, fences, and guides as needed
- Inspect materials for defects and report issues to supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading as needed
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
