Join our team as a Drywall Installer/Repairer, where you'll play a key role in creating smooth, high-quality finished surfaces for residential and commercial projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on craftsmanship and takes pride in detailed, precise work. You'll work both independently and with a team to complete installations, repairs, and finishing tasks efficiently and safely.
Job Duties:
- Install drywall panels in residential and commercial settings according to project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets accurately to various wall and ceiling structures.
- Repair existing drywall, including patching holes, cracks, and water-damaged areas.
- Tape, mud, and finish seams to create smooth surfaces ready for paint or texture.
- Sand and prepare surfaces to meet quality and aesthetic standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate hand and power tools required for installation and repair tasks.
- Communicate with supervisors, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Follow all safety guidelines, building codes, and company procedures.
