Duties

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on  engines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Maintain and repair air brake systems, shocks, struts, and hydraulic components.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and any other relevant information.

Skills

• Proficiency in diesel engine repair and maintenance techniques.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics to identify issues effectively.
• Familiarity with air brake systems, hydraulics, shocks, struts, and farm machinery.
• Experience operating hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
