Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Job Description: Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Diesel Mechanic position in the Sparta area. As a Diesel Mechanic, your key responsibilities will include changing oil, filters, tires, brakes, and performing engine repairs. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire changes, and brake repairs on diesel vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair engine issues to ensure proper functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within specified timeframes.
Requirements:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience working as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Proficient in working on diesel engines and completing assigned tasks.
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for diesel vehicles.
- Ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot engine issues.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Compensation:
- The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr., per hour and up, depending on experience.
