Job Full Description
Job Duties – Sandbag Filler (35 lb Bags)
-
Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automated sandbag-filling equipment to fill 35-lb sandbags.

Load sand or aggregate material into the hopper or designated fill area.

Monitor material flow to ensure each bag reaches the required 35-lb weight.

Secure, tie, or seal sandbags to prevent spillage.

Lift, carry, and stack 35-lb filled sandbags onto pallets, trucks, or designated staging areas.

Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris, managing material piles, and ensuring equipment pathways are clear.

Assist with routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and troubleshooting of sandbag-filling machines.

Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Communicate equipment issues, material shortages, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.

Support general labor tasks related to sandbag production and site operations as needed.
