Job Title: Part-Time Design Consultant
Location: McMinnville, TN
Pay: $15/hour (starting)
Schedule: Part-Time (with potential for full-time hours in the near future)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and customer-focused Part-Time Design Consultant to join our team in McMinnville, TN. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for interior design and a strong ability to connect with customers to bring their vision to life. Previous design consulting experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the flooring industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers to understand their design needs, preferences, and project goals

Provide personalized design recommendations, including color and texture combinations

Deliver excellent customer service through active listening and effective communication

Perform inside sales activities and assist customers throughout the purchasing process

Operate POS systems for transactions and order processing

Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom displays

Stay up to date on product knowledge and current design trends
Qualifications:

Previous design consulting experience required (flooring industry experience preferred)

Proven retail sales experience within interior design highly preferred

Strong eye for color, texture, and design combinations

Ability to see and accurately differentiate colors

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills and experience with POS systems
