Job Full Description
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Technician to join our team at a manufacturing facility in Sparta, TN. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure proper performance
- Perform basic machine setup and adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major concerns to maintenance
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Meet production goals and minimize downtime
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent manufacturing experience required
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine operations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good attendance and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
