Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Powder Coater for a company in Smithville, TN. This role focuses on applying high-quality powder coating finishes to metal parts using proper techniques and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Apply powder coating using spray equipment for smooth, even coverage
- Monitor oven temperatures and curing processes
- Inspect finished products and perform touch-ups as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures
- Support production needs and assist in the finishing department
Qualifications:
- Experience powder coating aluminum and/or steel required
- Knowledge of powder coating equipment and processes
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow instructions and read job orders
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and willing to learn
