Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Light Tester to join a manufacturing team on 1st shift.
This position is responsible for inspecting tanks using specialized lighting equipment to identify leaks, cracks, defects, or other damage that could impact product quality. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow inspection procedures, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect tanks and related products using light testing methods to detect leaks, cracks, and other defects.
- Perform visual quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Document inspection results accurately and report any quality concerns.
- Identify non-conforming products and follow established procedures for containment and reporting.
- Work closely with production and quality personnel to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with additional production or quality-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, quality inspection, or production experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good problem-solving and observation skills.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
