Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking experienced Construction Laborers for a client in Spencer, Tennessee. This position requires individuals with previous construction experience who can assist with a variety of residential and commercial construction projects. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working with both hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with construction and remodeling projects.
• Build and repair decks and other wood structures.
• Perform painting, sheetrock installation, and finishing work.
• Measure, cut, and install materials accurately.
• Read and use a tape measure correctly.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, and transport materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience required.
• Experience with deck building, painting, and sheetrock work required.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation is required to travel to and from job sites.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and bending.
