Job Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Dunlap, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have proven, hands-on automotive repair experience and be capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems. Applicants must be dependable, self-motivated, and have a solid work history with verifiable automotive mechanic experience.

This position is for a qualified technician who can work independently, accurately diagnose issues, and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of verifiable, on-the-job automotive mechanic experience
• Must have reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Must provide professional references and verifiable work history
• Must own and maintain a complete set of mechanic tools necessary for daily job duties
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform repairs according to manufacturer and industry standards
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required for experienced candidates

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
• Perform maintenance services, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tune-ups
• Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
• Complete inspections and accurately document repair recommendations
• Use diagnostic equipment and repair information systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding vehicle concerns and repair needs
