Class A CDL OTR Refrigerated Truck Driver

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Class A CDL Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver to join our team. This is a direct hire position transporting refrigerated freight across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering freight on schedule while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations.

Compensation

• $0.62 per mile
• Consistent miles available
• Direct hire opportunity

Schedule

• OTR route with refrigerated freight
• Drivers are typically on the road for 3 weeks at a time
• 1 day home between OTR trips
• Flexible schedule based on freight demands and delivery requirements

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated freight.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route vehicle inspections.
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of customer freight.
• Maintain accurate logs and transportation records in accordance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Monitor refrigerated trailer temperatures and ensure proper cargo handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• 2-3 years of recent OTR driving experience
• Experience operating refrigerated trailers preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Current and valid DOT Medical Card (Health Card)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety requirements
