Position Title: ASE Certified Mechanic
Location: Sparta, TN
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled and dependable ASE Certified Mechanic to join a growing automotive service team in Sparta, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid checks.
• Repair and replace defective parts and components.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify vehicle issues.
• Perform inspections and recommend necessary repairs.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Current ASE Certification required.
• Previous automotive repair experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
• Knowledge of gasoline engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and drivetrains.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
