Pay Rate: $16.38 per hour

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Counter for a leading manufacturing facility in Sparta, TN. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting warehouse and production operations to ensure materials are available when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances
• Verify inventory accuracy within warehouse and production areas
• Audit materials, components, and finished goods for proper quantities
• Enter and maintain inventory data in company systems
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing materials
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
• Work closely with warehouse, shipping, and production teams
• Follow all company safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous inventory, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems preferred
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and data entry accurately
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout a 10-hour shift
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
