Needed Yard Hostler
A shipping company in South Fort Worth is seeking a yard hostler to join their dynamic 1st shift team!
Yard Hostler Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm
Yard Hostler Pay: $21+/hr.
Yard Hostler Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the movement and spotting of trailers to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment
- Operate the yard truck in a safe manner
- Drive and operate a vehicle under 15 mph in and around the facility.
- Performs yard checks throughout the day for Inbound and Outbound.
- Document and perform trailer moves on both the Inbound and Outbound operations.
Yard Hostler Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year related experience and/or training.
- Safe truck and trailer operating skills are required.
- Experience with backing 53-foot trailers.
- A current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred; however, verifiable experience
