MIG Welder (Sheet Metal) – 1st Shift | $19–$21/hr+ | Full-Time
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a skilled MIG Welder for a growing manufacturing team. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity with competitive pay and room for advancement for top performers.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Welder with sheet metal experience to join our team. This role involves working with a MIG welding system to fabricate and assemble metal components while maintaining high-quality standards.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Consistent full-time hours
Pay:
- $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Higher pay available for highly qualified candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on sheet metal components
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with MIG welding required
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings/shop prints
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and perform physical work
- Strong attention to detail and quality
