Travel: Occasional (not regular)
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a reputable client in Mt. Pleasant, TX to hire experienced Structural Stick Welders. This role is ideal for welders who take pride in clean, strong welds and are open to occasional travel—with expenses covered.
Responsibilities

Perform structural stick welding (SMAW) on steel components

Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols

Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards

Assist with fit-up and general fabrication as needed

Travel to job sites when required (not frequent)
Qualifications

Proven experience in structural stick welding

Ability to pass a weld test

Knowledge of welding symbols and blueprints

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Willingness to travel occasionally
