Job Title: Powder Coater/Part time
Pay: $15–$18/hr (varies by experience)
Job Summary:
Responsible for applying powder coating to metal parts/products to create a durable, high-quality finish. You make things look good and last long… kind of like a solid resume.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Prep metal surfaces (cleaning, sanding, masking, blasting if needed)

Apply powder using spray gun and coating equipment
-
Cure parts in oven to proper temp and time
-
Inspect finished product for thickness, coverage, defects
-
Hang/remove parts from racks and maintain workflow
-
Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and safe
-
Follow all PPE and safety protocols (yes, you have to actually wear the gear)
Requirements:
-
1+ year powder coating experience preferred
-
Knowledge of metal prep, coating, and curing process
-
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for long periods
-
Good attention to detail
-
Team player who shows up and works (revolutionary concept, I know)
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production setting, fast-paced, lots of standing, moving, and metal parts swinging around like it’s a gymnastics event.
