Job Title: Stamping Operator
Pay Rate: Up to $20 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary:
The Stamping Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining stamping machines used to shape or cut materials according to specifications. This role ensures that production runs efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate stamping presses and related equipment
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor production processes
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements
- Adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance and product consistency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Record production data, including quantities, defects, and downtime
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Basic mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing or production facility setting
- Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and industrial materials
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Schedule:
- Full-time; may include shifts, overtime, or weekends depending on production needs
