Job Title: Machine Technician
Pay Rate: Up to $19.00/hour
Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Overtime as needed
Position Overview:
Sunrider is seeking dependable Machine Technicians to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe mechanical devices in operation to identify causes of equipment issues
- Listen for unusual sounds to detect mechanical malfunctions
- Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts
- Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
- Inspect used parts to determine dimensional changes or wear
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
- Repair or replace defective components
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and utilities
- Install functional and structural parts in machinery
- Start and test devices to ensure proper performance
- Set up and operate equipment as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in machine maintenance or a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Strong attention to safety and detail
