Job Title: Night Shift Supervisor
Pay Rate: Up to $20 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary:
The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production operations during the night shift, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. This role leads a team of operators, coordinates workflow, and addresses any issues that arise during assigned hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support production staff during night shift operations
- Ensure production goals and deadlines are met
- Monitor workflow, machine performance, and staffing needs
- Train, coach, and provide guidance to team members
- Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
- Inspect products and processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot operational or personnel issues and escalate when needed
- Maintain accurate production reports and shift documentation
- Coordinate with day shift leadership to ensure smooth transitions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead a team and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and reporting skills
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing or production facility setting
- Exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial conditions
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Schedule:
- Full-time, night shift (hours may vary)
- Overtime and weekend availability may be required
