Job Full Description

Now hiring an IT Support Technician to provide in-house technology support for a local government office in Wilmer, TX.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

1. Provide day-to-day IT support for staff, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
2. Set up, maintain, and repair computers, printers, and other office technology equipment.
3. Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
4. Support phone systems, email, and other communication tools.
5. Assist with maintaining servers, networks, and data backups.
6. Respond to help desk requests and provide friendly, timely support to customers and staff.
7. Maintain inventory of IT equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.

What We're Looking For:

1. Prior IT support or help desk experience preferred.
2. Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking basics.
3. Strong customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
5. Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in an office environment.
