Job Full Description
Are you a planner who loves turning schedules into results? A global manufacturing company in Dallas, TX is hiring a Production Planner to plan and control production for its CNC department, keeping inventory lean, lead times short, and product flowing every day.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
What You'll Do:
- Build daily and short-term production plans to maximize equipment capacity and keep a steady flow of product
- Set lead times for finishing production to meet customer delivery requirements
- Manage internal orders from sales and operations teams worldwide, including e-commerce monitoring and order acknowledgements
- Track production run times and cycle times to keep productivity at its highest
- Create production paperwork and reporting, and recommend improvements to keep reporting accurate
- Give the CNC department clear visibility into material needs coming from the finishing department
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and ERP or order management systems
- Analytical mindset with excellent organization and attention to detail
- Clear communicator who works well across departments
- CNC or manufacturing environment experience is a plus

Pay: $20-24/hour, depending on experience
