Do you love to cook? A food service operation in Waxahachie, TX is looking for an experienced Cook to join its back-of-house kitchen team. You'll bring recipes to life with fresh ingredients and quality equipment, working with a variety of cuisines and cooking styles.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm (flexibility for occasional weekends)
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Work in a tray line environment, preparing meals accurately and on schedule
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times
- Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked
- Work as part of a team to keep the kitchen running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
- Years of cooking experience, ideally working from recipes in a tray line or high-volume kitchen setting
- Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, team-oriented, and available Monday-Friday with weekend flexibility
