Working alongside the pipe welder, you will be cutting and preparing schedule 40 black steel piping for installation. This position requires that you have the skill set to stay one step ahead of the pipe welder to keep him welding. Operating comealongs, bandsaws, pipe threader, chain falls, pipe bevelers, oxygen & acetylene torch - all of which is provided by the company. Cutting and threading pipe. Pipe sizes can vary from 1/2" to 8"

• Minimum 5 years experience as a pipefitter working with butt weld pipe & fittings and T&C black pipe.
• Ability to read plans and have good mathematical skills to provide accurate measurements for pipe fabrication.
• Basic Pipefitter hand tools.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to work with limited supervision
