Rebar Fabricator I – Build the Backbone of Big Projects!

Are you hands-on, detail-driven, and ready to help create the structures that shape our world? Join our dynamic team as a Rebar Fabricator I, where you’ll turn steel, skill, and precision into high-quality components that keep major construction projects standing strong. Every day brings something different—bending, cutting, shaping, staging, and inspecting rebar that becomes the literal backbone of our business.

What You’ll Do

As a Rebar Fabricator I, you’ll step into a fast-paced production environment where teamwork, craftsmanship, and safety come first. Your daily mission includes:

?? Bring Blueprints to Life
• Read and interpret customer specs, drawings, and blueprints to understand materials, measurements, and machine setup needs.

?? Cut, Bend, Weld, and Fabricate
• Pull, cut, bend, and weld rebar and assemblies to precise engineering specifications while keeping production on schedule.
• Bend and fabricate “pull-pins” for our cover casting team.

?? Stage & Support Production Flow
• Organize and stage rebar material, racks, and skids to keep work moving smoothly.
• Assist rebar benders with placing, separating, lifting, and positioning bars for bending operations.
• Reposition workpieces for multiple bends, manage dunnage placement, and bundle finished products for loading.

?? Team Up with Shear Operators
• Help clear sheared materials, supply correct stock lengths, and prepare steel bundles for processing.
• Break and shake out steel bars, stage materials for cutting, and ensure operators have what they need.
• Signal overhead crane operators for moving and organizing steel bundles safely.

?? Craft with Precision
• Fabricate workpieces using shearing, bending, auto-bonding, and threading equipment.
• Retrieve the correct materials and complete fabrication tasks with accuracy and consistency.

?? Quality Check Everything
• Inspect finished work visually or with tools like tape measures, calipers, and gauges to ensure every piece meets quality standards.

?? Get Products Ready to Roll
• Package finished products for shipping, using bracing, padding, and strapping to protect materials in transit.

?? Keep It Clean & Safe
• Maintain an organized work area and follow all company safety policies to ensure a safe, efficient workplace.

?? Pitch In Where Needed
• Support other team tasks and take on additional duties as assigned.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

• Hands-on, physical work where you can see the results of your effort
• A collaborative team that supports each other
• Training opportunities and room to grow
• A role that keeps you active, engaged, and building something that matters

If you’re ready to learn, grow, and help build the framework of tomorrow’s projects, we’d love to have you on our team!
