Express Employment Professionals is looking for a IT Project Manager in Longview, WA.
OVERVIEW:
The MSP Project Manager ensures IT projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. This role combines technical knowledge, project management, and client relationship skills while serving as the key liaison between clients, technical teams, and vendors
SHIFT: Monday-Friday (8:00AM -5:00PM)
Pay: $35.00/Hourly
Education: Associate’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred).
Certifications: CompTIA Project+ or other professional project management certification desired.
Job Duties:
- Defining Project Goals and Scope: Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear objectives, deliverables, and project scope.
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules, outlining tasks, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources (human and material) effectively to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, track expenses and adjusting as needed to stay within financial constraints.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, analyze their potential impact, and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges.
- Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with all stakeholders (clients, team members, upper management) to keep them informed of progress, issues, and decisions.
- Execution and Monitoring: Supervise and coordinate project tasks, track progress against the plan, and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of project deliverables meets established standards through testing and validation processes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, plans, and reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in project coordination or project management, ideally within an MSP (Master Service Provider) environment.
- Proven experience in managing IT projects
