Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Shop Helper/Equipment Operator for a lumber mill in Clatskanie OR.
Job Description:
- Sharpening knives up to 19".
- Using grinder, air guns, power tools, and hand tools.
- They play an important role in ensuring the premises remain clean.
- Must be willing to be trained on operating a front end loader.
- Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered with grapple attachment to lift and transport logs to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load and unload trucks.
- Moves levers to lower and tilt grapple and drives front-end loader forward to load and unload logs.
- Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Skills
- Self starter attitude, able to keep busy and be coachable.
- Comfortable working inside and outside.
Pay: $20.00
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm.
