Job Full Description
Summary
Need an industrial painter to do painting in a paint booth for industrial parts. Candidate will need to have previous experience in paint booth or industrial painting to be successful.
Job Duties
- The paint is typical industrial enamel paint and some 2 part Epoxy type paint system.
- Company uses a HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) painting system
- Prepares and sprays successive coats of stain, varnish, shellac, lacquer, or paint on work piece
- Removes excess solvent. Removes old finish from surfaces
- Smooth’s and sands surface with grinders and sanders and preparing article for finishing
- Selects finish ingredients and mixes them by hand or machine to obtain specified color or shade or to match existing finish
Other Requirements
- Ability to wear respirator
- Well suited backgrounds/work experience includes: finish cabinetry carpenters industrial painters, automotive painters
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hour shifts
- Able to read and interpret written information (specifications, drawings and schematics).
