A local CPA firm is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist clients in the day to day financial operations of their businesses. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include accounts payable, receivable, payroll and monthly/quarterly taxes. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Familiarity with Quickbooks, both online and desktop is required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-year accounting degree is preferred
- Quickbooks required
- Prior accounting experience
- Problem solving skills related to adjustments, resolving discrepancies, and detecting and correcting errors
- Be neat, well groomed, and have a courteous, pleasant manner
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Evaluation to hire position
Hours are Monday - Friday – 8:00am - 5:00pm. Pay rate starts at $17.00/hour.
