Chemical Operator - Rotating Shifts
A chemical manufacturing plant in Belle, WV is looking for 3 Chemical Operators to work in the facility on a 12 hours rotating shift schedule. 6:00am - 6:00pm and 6:00pm - 6:00am (changing every 4 weeks.) This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone with chemical plant experience. Excellent pay and room for advancement!
Responsibilities:
As a Chemical Operator you will responsible for supporting plant production and ensuring the plant operates efficiently. Chemical Operators comply with Standard Operating Procedures; tend equipment units or semi-automatic system that stores and processes chemical substances. Other responsibilities include; setting controls, tending valves, monitoring gauges, signaling and observing chemical reactions.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or the equivalent.
- Valid driver's license
- Steel toe boots
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
- Prior chemical plant experience is preferred.
Direct hire position--within the plant.
Hours are 7 days per week; 12 hours rotating shifts. Candidates must be available to work any shift, any day. Starting pay is $29.36 per hour, based on prior plant experience.
