A local company is seeking a full-time Prior Authorization Specialist for their busy office to keep their office in order. If you are looking for an exciting new opportunity with an awesome company, then this is the job for you!
Responsibilities:
As a Prior Authorization Specialist you will be responsible for reviewing, researching, coding, and generating third party billing for a medical facility. The qualified candidate completes and verifies ICD-10 coding, inputs and maintains all payment records in database or systems and performs basic customer service for routine patient or other inquiries.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma is required, college degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience
- Follow HIPAA policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information at all times
- Maintains proper attendance and punctuality
- Display consistent professionalism
Evaluation-to-hire position
Hours are Monday through Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm. Pay rate starts at $17.00/hour
