Logistics/Material Coordinator

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an organized and dependable Inventory & Material Coordinator for a growing client. This position supports daily production needs, inventory accuracy, material planning, and shipment coordination.
Job Summary
- Manage daily material and inventory requirements
- Perform inventory analysis and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with Operations, R&M teams, vendors, and supervisors to ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and documented on time
- Track and process inventory consumption using internal systems (OASIS, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office)
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and assist with loading/unloading equipment
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure DOT, HSSE, and QMS compliance
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely
- Perform cycle counts, monthly inventory reconciliation, and monitor slow-moving/obsolete inventory
- Maintain accurate documentation for all incoming/outgoing equipment and parts
- Other duties as assigned; some standing, repetitive work, and on‑call availability required
Qualifications
- Industry experience preferred
- Ability to lift, operate equipment, and work in active shop/yard environments
