Happy Administrative Professionals Day – April 24

  • As an administrative professional, you’re often the face of your department, and sometimes even the whole organization. You most likely work with nearly everyone in the company in some capacity. Whether that’s face-to-face, email, or over the phone, the number of team members you interact with is high, and with that comes challenges.

One way to foster better working relationships among the many coworkers you interact with is it to have a better understanding of the generations in the workplace.

There are now five unique generations working side by side in the workforce. With greatly varying beliefs, influences, and traits, it's bound to cause some conflict. To help shed light on the different generations and their personality traits, Express has developed Faces of Change.

Watch the video below to gain insight on the characteristics of Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, Millennials, and Gen Z. While you may or may not completely identify with your generational traits, you’ll have a better understanding of how to engage with other generations within your workplace.
