Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in a timely manner.
- Perform repairs on faulty equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed in the company’s tracking system.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies regarding safety and cleanliness.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements relevant to the role.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including potential overtime.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and management.
