Express Employment is working with a local company who is looking to hire the following position:
Logistics/Shipping Support
Location: Clifton, NJ
Pay rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:45am - 4:30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Efficiently and accurately pack products or parts for shipment in accordance with company standards.
- Use appropriate packaging materials to ensure products are secure and arrive undamaged.
- Label packages with necessary shipping details and documentation, including addresses, barcodes, and tracking information.
- Assist in organizing and preparing shipments based on the daily shipping schedule.
- Ensure proper handling of fragile and high-priority items to prevent damage during transportation.
- Accurately count, verify, and track parts and components used in production or shipping processes.
- Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory by recording parts used, received, or shipped.
- Work with the logistics team to ensure parts are properly stored and easily accessible when needed.
- Report any discrepancies in parts counts or inventory levels to the appropriate team members or supervisors.
- Assist in the tumbling and oiling processes to ensure parts are properly cleaned and treated.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the tumbling/oiling room.
- Follow safety protocols when handling machinery and chemicals used in the tumbling and oiling processes.
- Perform basic quality control checks to ensure all shipments and parts are correct and meet company standards.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work with a team or individually.
- Must have 1-2 years of previous production or machine operating experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
