Job Title: Spray Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Job Summary:
The Spray Technician is responsible for applying coatings, paints, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner. This role involves surface preparation, precise application techniques, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation:
Clean, sand, mask, and prime surfaces to ensure proper coating adhesion and finish quality.
- Coating Application:
Mix and apply paints, stains, or coatings using spray guns and related equipment, ensuring even and consistent coverage.
- Quality Control:
Inspect completed work for defects, inconsistencies, or imperfections and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
- Equipment Maintenance:
Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot spray equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Safety Compliance:
Follow all workplace safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of materials.
- Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of materials used, job progress, and completed work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of paints, coatings, and spray techniques
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
