Position Overview – Warehouse Associate (Forklift / Shipping & Receiving)
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role includes operating equipment, handling materials, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Load and unload products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Perform order picking and packing for outgoing shipments
- Ensure proper packaging of items to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and on time
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment
- Process returns by inspecting, cleaning, and restocking items
- Safely carry and move heavy boxes
- Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory movement
Requirements:
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and teamwork skills
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with material handling and equipment use
- Active, physical role involving standing, lifting, and movement throughout the day
