Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities

• E-file legal documents in New Jersey courts (New York e-filing experience preferred)
• Prepare, format, and proofread legal correspondence and court documents
• Manage case files, discovery materials, and litigation documentation
• Assist attorneys with case preparation and ongoing litigation support
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Coordinate deadlines, calendars, and court-related scheduling
• Utilize Microsoft Office and legal software for document preparation and case tracking
• Work within platforms including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe PDF, and Actionstep

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of plaintiff personal injury and/or insurance defense litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of e-filing procedures (NJ required; NY preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat/PDF document management
• Familiarity with Actionstep or similar case management software preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
