Temporary Material Handler / Stockroom Associate – 1st Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Material Handler / Stockroom Associate to support daily warehouse and production operations. This temporary position is responsible for picking and packaging materials, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, maintaining accurate inventory locations, and supporting stockroom cycle counts.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, package, and prepare materials for:
- Work orders
- Back orders
- Counter service requests
- Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate storage and location tracking of all incoming materials.
- Distribute materials to production lines in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support cycle counting and inventory control activities within the stockroom.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in the warehouse and stockroom areas.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, stockroom, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift required.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic inventory and material tracking knowledge preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move materials for extended periods.
