Field Helper
Location: Bergen County, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Field Helper to assist with the installation and repair of residential and commercial garage doors. This is a full-time position with on-the-job training provided. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and enjoys working with their hands.
Responsibilities
- Assist with garage door installations and repairs.
- Safely use hand and power tools.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites.
- Complete job-related paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide excellent customer service while working on-site.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of construction or related experience preferred.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Ability to safely lift up to 80 lbs. with a partner.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable with excellent attendance.
