Job Details

Responsibilities

• Install Fisher plows and salt spreaders
• Service and repair snow removal equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
• Install hydraulic dump inserts, lift gates, and trailer hitches
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
• Wire lighting and other electrical components as needed
• Inspect trailers and equipment for safety and performance
• Complete general repair and maintenance work

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of relevant mechanical experience
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and service plows and salt spreaders
• Experience with Fisher or Western equipment preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Own basic hand tools
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Wiring or electrical experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
