Job Details

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from the public regarding community, social service, and government resources.
• Assess caller needs and screen for appropriate programs and services according to established protocols.
• Provide accurate information and referrals to available resources.
• Collect caller information and document interactions within the call management system.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and call handling guidelines.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while assisting callers.
• Identify changes in community resources, agency services, and eligibility requirements and communicate updates to the Database Department.
• Accurately enter and maintain data within agency systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Excellent active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to assess needs and provide appropriate referrals.
• Comfortable working with databases and data entry systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Call center, customer service, social services, healthcare, or community resource experience preferred.
