Now Hiring: HP Indigo Digital Press Operator – Level 2
Location: Mahwah, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: $75,000 per year
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HP Indigo Digital Press Operator to join our team in Mahwah, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting HP Indigo digital presses. This role is responsible for producing high-quality printed materials, maintaining color accuracy, and ensuring production deadlines are met.
Certification Requirements: Candidates with an HP Indigo Level 1 Certification or a Level 2 certification from another digital press manufacturer will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor HP Indigo digital presses to meet production schedules and customer specifications.
- Perform routine press maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues and coordinate with HP Indigo support when needed.
- Maintain color accuracy and consistency through press calibration and adjustments.
- Inspect printed materials for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Prepare print jobs, load substrates, and adjust press settings as needed.
- Monitor ink, substrates, and other production supplies.
- Collaborate with prepress, finishing, production, and quality teams to meet deadlines and job requirements.
- Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and equipment records.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and maintaining HP Indigo digital presses.
- HP Indigo Level 2 Certification preferred.
- Candidates with HP Indigo Level 1 Certification or Level 2 certification from another manufacturer will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of digital printing, color management, and press troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with RIP software and HP Indigo workflow management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple departments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
